FTMI board member Wally Badarou interviewed on French national TV

FTMI advisory board member, musician and composer Wally Badarou was the guest of “Africa Journal” this week on French national public broadcaster, TV5Monde. Speaking about the launch of the African Music Academy, Wally also introduced the new awards, dedicated to promoting African music the world over.

Wally is a longtime associate of British band Level 42, having co-written, performed and co-produced with the band from the beginning. He was a member of the Compass Point All Stars, the in-house recording team working with Grace Jones, Joe Cocker and Mick Jagger, and has also recorded with Robert Palmer, Marianne Faithfull, Talking Heads, Foreigner, Power Station, Manu Dibango, Miriam Makeba and many others.
